X-ray radiometric separators for piece sorting of ores of natural resources and technogene raw materials (SRF) |
|
Ore, filled into the receiving bunker by the vibrant feeder is taken out of its lock and goes to distributor. The separator productivity is set from the control unit.
Under the influence of vibration and special construction of distributor's tray chutes, ore flow while its moving along trays is distributed from mono-lay into one-stream flow, providing successive fall of pieces from trays ends into X-ray block measure zone.In this zone every ore piece is rayed by primary X-ray emission (X-1), provocation of secondary X-ray emission (X-2) happens in the surface lay of ore pieces that is registered by detecting blocks DB. The emission (X-2) makes spectrum consisting of characteristic elements X-ray emission and diffused emission. Apparatus spectrum is analyzed by separator's measure-control system.
In the analyze result according to every set parameter (distinctive feature) in every piece presence and absence of determined elements relatively some initial content, which is also set, are determined.Over this initial content, the measure-control system gives control signal for executive mechanisms work, delayed by the time necessary for piece flight from measuring zone to sorting zone.At executive mechanisms work, because of the beater influence, a piece moves trajectory aside and goes to the far sorting products tank and then to conveyer of selected products (dressed ore). Not selected pieces go to their receiving tank without moving trajectory aside and get onto the other conveyer (separation rest).
Pieces selection by executive mechanisms according to measure-control system work can have 2 regimes:- ore pieces selection;
- rock selection.
So, the name and purpose of tanks change. Separators together with knot of preparation of ore form a uniform complex for the ore sorting which general productivity is defined by technological problems, grain-size classification of the given type of ore, quantity of separators.
